King Images Chosen for Juried Cotton Cancer Center Exhibition

Two images by Rumney, NH artist Wayne King have been chosen for display in the Juried exhibition "Healing with Art".

Raining Umbrellas is a mixed media montage image with elements of both photography and water color painting. It is a happy and colorful image blending an image of umbrellas flying through the air and a cloudscape painted with watercolors. The images are blended together on a single base image which is scanned for output on cotton rag fine art paper with archival inks.

Tire Swing at the Rumney Trestle

An old railroad trestle in the town of Rumney has been converted to a bridge for snowmobiles and off road vehicles. Beneath it is one of the sweetest swimming holes on the Baker River and a choice spot for local folks who are willing to stand up to the landowner through whose land the public right of way runs.

Drawn Inexorably to the Light

Two children drawn to the light of a clearing express the sentiment that children are drawn to light and truth. It is only when we have allowed the cynicism of time erode this that we lose that spark of childhood.
